Ms. Tatiana Garcia, Technical Manager of polynSPIRE participated at the European Chemical Recycling Conference 2019 in Brussels, Belgium. The event was attended by 150 participants from academia, industry, non-governmental organizations and policy makers from European and national institutions. The discussion evolved around the future of this technology and its application at the industrial level.
In front of the full auditorium, Ms. Garcia presented the project and the innovative approach to chemical recycling that has been developed by polynSPIRE consortium. The presentation was part of an afternoon session as a case study from Chemical Recycling of polymers together with two other projects funded by the European Commission.
In the conferences closing remarks, Mohammad Hayatifar, General Secretary of Chemical Recycling Europe, highlighted the importance of innovative projects in order to fully exploit the potential of chemical recycling technologies.
